This five week course is designed for complete beginners with little to NO sewing experience, who want to learn how to use a sewing machine in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
We begin right at the very start with sewing machine setup and I will guide you step by step as you build confidence from your very first stitch.
Across five weekly sessions, you will learn essential sewing skills while creating a range of simple, practical and fun projects to take home. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in machine sewing and feel ready to progress onto more advanced sewing courses.

Please bring your own sewing machine and a basic sewing kit.
You will need:
Fabric scissors
Pins or fabric clips
Fabric marker or chalk pencil
Seam ripper
Spare bobbins for your machine
Thread (100% polyester recommended)
Fabric (required for Weeks 2–5)
Studio tools such as cutting mats, rulers, and irons are available to use during class.
No machine? No problem! Add machine hire to your booking. A studio machine will be waiting for you to use during your sessions.
Important Information
Going on holiday during the course? No problem! If you know you'll miss a session, let us know as soon as possible. Although we can't guarantee that a catch-up space will be available, we'll always do our best to find you a place in another suitable class where space allows. Catch-up sessions may be on a different day or at a different time to your usual course.
Booking is online only and spaces are limited. If you require a studio machine ensure you choose this option before checking out. You will provide your own material for this course. Week one material is included.
This course requires a minimum of 2 participants to run. In the unlikely event this number is not met, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
