This four week course is designed for complete beginners with little to no sewing experience who want to learn how to use a sewing machine in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
We begin right at the very start with sewing machine setup and guide you step by step as you build confidence from your very first stitch.
Across four weekly sessions, you will learn essential sewing skills while creating a range of simple, practical and fun projects to take home. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in machine sewing and feel ready to progress onto Level 2.

Please bring your own sewing machine and a basic sewing kit.
You will need:
Fabric scissors
Pins or fabric clips
Fabric marker or chalk pencil
Seam ripper
Spare bobbins for your machine
Thread (100% polyester recommended)
Fabric (required for Weeks 2–4)
Studio tools such as cutting mats, rulers, and irons are available to use during class.
